The Newport-based Reseiclo team is made up of two not-for-profit companies (social enterprises) working together to save wood from landfill and use it as a resource to transform the lives of the local community by providing a place where they can learn new skills, make connections with people, and improve their employment prospects.
As social enterprises, any excesses are reinvested into the development of the companies. To find out more about our plans for further development, click here.
A social enterprise that collects “waste” wood from the South Wales area and reclaims it by renewing it into DIY timber and unique handmade wooden products for sale. All our products are made on-site by our volunteers, Trainees (see below), and staff, many of whom learnt their skills right here!
Works in partnership with Reseiclo to provide a work-based daycare service for adults with learning disabilities, mental health, autistic spectrum disorder and all forms of dementia. Together with our volunteers, Trainees build furniture out of the wood that’s collected by Reseiclo with the aim to empower and support individuals to gain experience by being part of a day-to-day working environment.
